Sources in the Ministry of Education confirmed that a plan was prepared to ensure a safe journey for the student, extending from the first stop, which is the moment when he leaves his home on the way to the school bus, and from there to school, to the classroom, and then back, through the same four stations.

The plan included sterilizing buses twice a day, measuring temperature, placing instructional stickers, limiting student density to 50%, wearing masks and gloves, and maintaining physical distancing.

The Ministry launched the "Welcome, My School" initiative, coinciding with the start of the new school year, under the slogan "We lead it". It aims to spread positivity among the educational community and create an interactive atmosphere for students to continue their educational journey within the hybrid learning environment.

The new academic year 2020/2021 began with different scenarios between public and private schools at the state level yesterday, as public schools received 25% of their students, while the educational models differed in the "private" according to the model adopted by each school in consultation with the families of its students.

The directors of public schools confirmed that they received 25% of students to study inside the classroom, and the implementation of precautionary measures since students left their homes, and transported them to schools by buses, indicating that each student's temperature should be examined, with an emphasis on the commitment to wearing masks, gloves, sterilization, and physical separation in the school And buses.

The “Welcome My School” initiative provides, through its activities, a mixture of motivation and awareness for students, educational staff and parents, in support of the Ministry’s efforts to maintain a safe and effective educational environment, ensuring the preservation of the educational process, by enabling the educational field to exercise its roles efficiently, taking into account the health requirements that Set by the Ministry for students and teachers.

In media statements, she said that the ministry has worked with the concerned authorities to develop protocols for returning to schools, including sending a survey to students' parents to choose the quality of education for their children. The director of a private school in Dubai, Omar Hatoum, stated that his school implements a hybrid education system (day and day), in which the students are divided into two groups, each of whom receives their school education in a day.
