The macabre series continues. Two horses were further mutilated during the night from Thursday to Friday in Bannalec (Finistère), reports Le Télégramme . It was by opening the doors of the hangar on Friday morning that the owner discovered her animals in a very sad state. The two horses, an English thoroughbred and a 17-year-old Arabian mare, both had their legs tied with electric wire.

If the thoroughbred comes out with superficial wounds, the mare has been horribly mutilated on the chest. A slate hook was also stuck in his eye. The animal's vital prognosis was still engaged on Friday afternoon. A scientific team went there in the morning and the owner lodged a complaint in the afternoon "for act of cruelty to two equines" to the Rosporden gendarmerie.

"A crime of the greatest barbarism", according to the mayor

In a press release published on the town's website, the mayor of Bannalec Christophe Le Roux denounced "this crime" which "concerns the greatest barbarism". "There is today in our country a wave of acts of this kind that I condemn with the greatest firmness", reacted the elected representative, calling on his fellow citizens "to be very vigilant but also to calm".
