China News Service, August 28. According to foreign media reports, as rescue operations continue, more bodies of victims have been found, and the number of victims caused by floods in Afghanistan has risen to 151.

  In the northern province of Parwan, the floods have killed 93 people and injured more than 110 others. It is currently the province with the most casualties among the affected areas in Afghanistan. The authorities have evacuated more than 900 families from Parwan province.

  In addition, the provinces affected by the floods include Nangarhar, Panjshir, Wardak, Loghar, Paktika and Kabisa. According to government statistics, about 1,500 houses in these provinces were damaged, causing huge economic losses.

  Tamim Azmi, spokesperson for the Ministry of Disaster Management of Afghanistan, said, "Search and rescue work is still ongoing, and we are worried that many people are still buried under rocks and gravel."

  According to reports, most of the victims were women and children, and the number of victims is expected to increase.
