The corresponding document has been published on the portal of regulatory legal acts.
“The draft act was developed to establish the possibility of issuing medical birth certificates in the form of electronic documents,” says the description of the project.
As noted, this is done in order to ensure the possibility of providing public services for registration of acts of civil status in a remote form.
The explanatory note says that this will allow the transfer of the relevant certificates in electronic form from the medical organization to the civil registration authorities for registering the facts of birth without a citizen's personal appeal to the civil registration authorities.
In mid-July, it was reported that a bill could be submitted to the State Duma, providing for a complete transfer into electronic form of the process of settling losses under OSAGO.
