On Thursday, the Swedish Public Health Agency proposed that the maximum limit for the number of people at gatherings should be raised from 50 people to 500. For the Södertälje Festival, the announcement has no major significance. The three-day festival, which has been arranged since the 90s, usually attracts 100,000 visitors to the center.

The cost is usually around SEK 2.1 million, but at the same time the city has earned almost SEK 50 million based on visitors' expenses that went to shopping, restaurants, overnight stays and activities.

"I miss the audience and the humor"

SVT has met the stand-up comedian Lasse Karlsson, who for the fourth year in a row would be conferences on the Södertälje Festival's main stage. He also had a planned stand-up show that would have been arranged for the first time.

This will be one of many canceled performances for Lasse Karlsson, who has not performed since March 14.

- I miss all my artistry, I miss the audience and the humor. I miss everything!
