We support the political discourse about Crimea, but we do nothing, ”the diplomat said in an interview with the newspaper Evropeyskaya Pravda.

According to him, the authorities should make a decision: either Ukraine "retains the western vector" or "returns control" in Donbass, thereby "crossing out the decision to move to the West."

"I understand that such an idea can cause widespread discussion ... But I proposed (to the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky - RT ) such a plan," Prystaiko said.

At the same time, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba called Prystaiko's statement personal opinion, noting that his words do not correspond to the official position of the state.
