The infection tracking of covid-19 in Halland is mainly done by the infected themselves, but now the region employs so-called infection trackers who will help in, for example, more extensive cases and in cases where the infected person is so ill that he is unable to do the infection tracking.
The new unit will be organized by the pandemic clinic at Halland Hospital and staffed by healthcare staff, however, it may take a couple of weeks before all routines are in place and the unit can begin work.
