The state of health of the main Russian opponent Alexeï Navalny knows "some improvements", announced Friday the Berlin hospital where he has been treated since he was the victim of poisoning in Russia, according to the German authorities.

"There have been some improvements in symptoms caused by ingestion" of a substance from the group of cholinesterase inhibitors, the establishment, Charité Hospital, said in a statement.

Still in a coma and on life support 

The hospital says he was still in an artificial coma and on life support.

The 44-year-old opponent was placed in intensive care at the emergency hospital in Omsk (Siberia) on Thursday August 20 after feeling unwell on a plane during a flight from Tomsk to Moscow.
