It was on July 2 that two battle planes of model Jas 39 Gripen went up at supersonic speeds and produced powerful sound bangs.

A horse became so frightened that it began to run around in its paddock, injuring its right hind leg. An emergency veterinarian was called in and after examinations, the horse is now on painkillers and has been kept inside since the day of the accident, reports the news agency Siren.

Now the owner of the horse demands compensation for veterinary costs and medicine.

SVT's reporter caught the plan's soundtracks when he recorded a report on Norra Gotland on 2 July.
