It was during Christmas Day last year that two men were shot with a semi-automatic hunting weapon.

One of the two shot men is said to have previously demanded one hundred thousand kronor from the now convicted woman for a bank deal.

She must then have asked for help from the man who then fired the weapon.

Seriously illegal threats instead of attempted murder

He is now sentenced to five years in prison for aggravated unlawful threats, causing danger to another and aggravated weapon crime. The man, who is in his 25s, is sentenced at the same time for several other points for events that occurred before the shooting.

Another man who was also charged with attempted murder is sentenced to nine months in prison for aiding and abetting a serious unlawful threat.

Prosecutor Åsa Valter says that she thinks they should have been convicted of attempted murder, but that she does not want to make a decision on the appeal until she has had time to read the entire sentence.

The remaining three are sentenced to probation for aiding and abetting serious unlawful threats.
