28 August 2020 These are feverish days for those who investigate the tragic story of Viviana Parisi and her son Gioele, which ended in circumstances that are far from clear. In the last few hours the hypothesis of the car accident that could have had serious consequences for the child has regained strength but today it is the father who - through his lawyer - seems to take away the momentum of this investigative path.

The windshield was already cracked
"The windshield of Viviana Parisi's Opel Corsa was already broken before the accident that took place on August 3 in the Turdi tunnel on the A20 Messina-Palermo motorway". To say this is, through his lawyer Pietro Venuti, Daniele Mondello, the husband of the 43-year-old deejay then found dead on August 8 in the woods of Caronia, while the little body of his 4-year-old son Gioele was found by a volunteer only August 19 about 300 meters away.

Last night there was a rumor that the slight crack detected on the windshield, on the passenger side, by the Scientific Police, was due precisely to the collision Viviana had in the tunnel with a workers' van, after a risky overtaking. Immediately after the accident, Viviana had lost track of her with her son. According to the investigators, it would be proof that little Gioele hit his head on which micro traces of blood were found during the CT scan before the autopsy.

But now comes the denial of Gioele's father, who is keen to point out that the windshield was "already damaged" after "a previous accident" which occurred in recent months. Thus, the windshield would not have broken that day of the disappearance.

The examination on the damaged car, which is located in a police depot in Messina, with a punctured wheel and other damage on the side, was carried out by the Scientific Police.

A surveillance camera also revealed that the child was not tied to the car seat. Even from the videos posted on social media, Gioele is always seen standing in the back seat, never fastened. On the morning of August 3, Viviana's car made a risky overtaking in the tunnel, crashing into a van and impacting with its right side on the left side of the van. The window also broke in the collision. That's why the investigators do not rule out that the child may have hit his head. But, according to the baby's father, the windshield was already broken.
