In Minsk, police officers detained a number of journalists to find out their identities. Interfax informs about this with reference to the official representative of the Municipal Department of Internal Affairs of the Minsk City Executive Committee Natalya Ganusevich.
“The journalists were detained to find out their identities. They are being taken to the police department, ”Ganusevich said.
Among the detainees were employees of TASS, Reuters, Associated Press.
Earlier, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus reported that 56 participants in uncoordinated actions were detained in the republic per day.
