Rapper Cardi B got angry when Republican politician DeAnna Loraine criticized Card and Meghan Thee Stallion’s fresh WAP song.

According to California-based Republican WAP is a "vile and sinister song, which throws the whole female sex one hundred years back in time," Metro-Journal writes.

“America needs a lot more women like Melania Trump than people like Cardi B,” Loraine said on Twitter.

27-year-old Cardi B - real name Belcalis Almanzar - didn’t like tweeting.

He responded with lewdness and an old photograph of Melania posing dressed.

The photo was taken in 1995 for the French newspaper Max. In the same pictures, Melania also posed with another model.

Melania Trump was 25 at the time of the photo shoot. The New York Times republished the image in 2017 after Donald Trump had become President of the United States.

Trump defended his wife at the time:

- Melania was one of the most successful models and she was involved in several shootings, even on the covers of big magazines. This picture was taken in a European magazine before I knew him. Such images are really fashionable and common in Europe, Trump said just over three years ago.

While Cardi B’s WAP song has gotten into the teeth of conservatives, it hasn’t slowed the song’s success. The video for the song, which grabbed number one in streaming services, sees cameo roles including Kylie Jenner and Rubi Rose.
