It is noted that the Ukrainian leader noted the importance of financial assistance from the United States "to maintain the stability of the economy and public finances of Ukraine."
In turn, Pompeo congratulated the Ukrainian people on the anniversary of independence.
Earlier, Zelensky held telephone talks with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
