The man was found injured by a passer-by on Södra vägen in Heden on Wednesday evening. He was taken by ambulance to hospital. The police write on their website that the health service stated that the man came in with a gunshot wound.
- But it was an early task and we can not confirm that he was shot. We have not found any empty sleeves. But technicians are on site, says Göran Carlbom at the police.
Shortly after midnight, the man, born in 1993, was found dead.
A preliminary investigation into murder or manslaughter has begun. The police also write on their website that the incident does not appear to be linked to gang crime.
The police will now knock on the door along Södra vägen.
