“I would not wish them the same events that we had in 2014. I do not want the Belarusians to die, to be killed or any other serious bloodshed caused by the government, ”Zelensky said in an interview with Euronews.

He also noted that it is not too late for the Belarusian authorities and people to start the path to a peaceful dialogue to resolve the situation.

At the same time, Zelensky stressed that the presidential elections are an internal affair of Belarus, and Ukraine does not intend to interfere in this.

Earlier, British journalist Neil Clark, in an interview with RT, said that the scenario of the protests in Belarus is similar to those that took place in Ukraine in 2014 and in Yugoslavia in 2000.

French President Emmanuel Macron urged to prevent a repetition of the Ukrainian scenario of events in Belarus.

The head of EU diplomacy, Josep Borrell, on the contrary, expressed the opinion that the situations in Belarus and Ukraine are "incomparable".
