In accordance with the "Law of the People's Republic of China on the Garrison of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China" and the order of the Central Military Commission, some of the organic units and equipment of the Army, Navy and Air Force of the Chinese People's Liberation Army in Hong Kong are rotated. This is the 23rd rotation of formed units since the Hong Kong Garrison was stationed.
At 11:20 pm on the 24th, the main army units of the Hong Kong Garrison participating in the rotation set off from the Shenzhen station and drove towards the Shenzhen Huanggang Port in a motorized manner.
At 0:00 on the 25th, the rotating troops were strictly adjusted, and in accordance with the requirements of standardized war preparations, they successively passed through the Shenzhen Huanggang Port and Hong Kong's Lok Ma Chau Port, and successfully arrived at the Xintian Military Camp. At 0:40 in the morning, the army units of the Hong Kong Garrison held a defense handover ceremony at the Xintian Barracks.
At 1 am, the army units that had rotated out of Hong Kong passed through the Lok Ma Chau port and the Huanggang port and returned to the Shenzhen garrison.
At 8 o'clock in the morning, the newly-rotated naval fleet consisting of guided missile escorts and landing craft crossed the waters of Hong Kong and arrived at Stonecutters Island Naval Base in Hong Kong on time. At 9:30, the naval forces of the Hong Kong Garrison held a defense handover ceremony at Stonecutters Island Barracks.
At 9 o'clock in the morning, the air force participating in the rotation departed from the Guangzhou station and arrived at Shigang Air Force Base at 9:50 to take over from the helicopter group that had rotated out of the port to perform defense.
After the completion of the handover task, the helicopter formation rotating out of Hong Kong slowly lifted into the air and left Hong Kong under the farewell of the comrades.
Subsequently, the two guard boats and landing craft that were rotated out of the port returned to Shenzhen for garrison at 12:30.
