How the two boys ended up in the cemetery last Saturday night, or if they know the suspects, the prosecutor does not want to go into. But it is a case of kidnapping, according to Anders Tordai who holds the case.

The boys, who are between 15 and 17 years old, were beaten for several hours, threatened and forced to undress.

-They have lost their clothes and been subjected to violence. It seems to have been going on for most of the night, from midnight to about eight in the morning, Tordai says.

Known by the police

At nine o'clock on Sunday morning, the boys managed to get in touch with a passer-by in the cemetery who helped them contact the police.

The suspects were arrested shortly afterwards when they tried to escape from the police.

-There was signaling information. And a witness was able to point out that two people ran from there when the police arrived, Tordai says.

The two men are suspected of probable cause for aggravated assault and kidnapping, the higher degree of suspicion.

-At least one of them is already known to the police. I already have ongoing suspicions against him, says Tordai.

The prosecutor will decide on Tuesday whether to request that the men be detained. There may also be more criminal classifications.

"What I can say at the moment is that my client denies the crime. I can not say more than that at the moment with regard to restrictions ", writes Gabriella Alnemark, one of the men's lawyers, to TT in an email.

The other man also denies the crime, according to the prosecutor.

Examines the shelter

The boys were taken to hospital after the assault, but were talkative and conscious when police arrived at the scene.

TT: How are they today?

-They are physically injured but exactly at what level I do not know and not how they feel mentally either, says Tordai.

The police have seized several objects and interrogations with various people are ongoing.

TT: What kind of objects are you going to examine?

-It is, for example, telephones and a number of different shelters that have been used during the assault and the entire process. There have been both assaults and threats, says Tordai.
