A work accident occurred Monday afternoon on the transformation site of the former Saint-Augustin clinic, rue Paul-Bellamy in Nantes. At around 1:30 p.m., two workers on post fell from a height of about 3 m when a floor collapsed, reports the Loire-Atlantique departmental fire and rescue service (Sdis).

Victim of multiple traumas, an 18-year-old man was transported in serious condition to the Nantes University Hospital. The other professional, aged 42, is slightly injured.

The clinic moved last year

The site was secured by the Loire-Atlantique firefighters rescue unit. Five machines and about twenty firefighters were mobilized for the occasion.

The Saint-Augustin clinic left rue Paul-Bellamy a year ago to move to the Santé-Atlantique (Elsan) center in Saint-Herblain.
