Four Grands Prix in Turkey (November 15), Bahrain (November 29 and December 6) and Abu Dhabi (December 13) were added on Tuesday to the 2020 Formula 1 season schedule, revised due to the coronavirus pandemic.

"We can confirm that some races will be open to a limited number of fans (...) and we are working with each promoter to finalize the details", also specifies the Formula 1 promoter in a press release.

Sochi, which will host the Russian GP on September 27, and Portimao, for the Portuguese GP on October 25, have notably indicated that they wish to welcome the public, while the season is currently taking place behind closed doors.

This addition brings the number of races on the calendar to 17, compared to 22 initially scheduled.

China in turn joins the list of canceled events, also announces F1. Only Vietnam, which was to host its first GP in April, is still postponed sine die.

The Turkish GP will be raced at Istanbul Park, which hosted F1 seven times between 2005 and 2011.

The two Bahraini rounds, the Bahrain GP and the Sakhir GP, will be contested on the usual Bahrain International Circuit in Sakhir.

Traditionally the closing race of the season, the Abu Dhabi GP will take place on the Yas Marina street circuit.
