Safety for users is of the utmost importance, says the scooter company Voi, after the report of injuries to scooter riders. They work with several different initiatives to increase safety, including a test to see if the driver is sober. But every driver must also take their responsibility and follow the traffic rules, says Kristina Hunter Nilsson, communications manager at Voi.
The Swedish company Voi was the first in Stockholm to rent out electric scooters. They and are also the largest company in the city.
Kristina Hunter Nilsson, Head of Communications at Voi, says that it is important to place the reporting of accidents in a larger context, and believes that they are no more dangerous than bicycles.
