25 August 2020It is a crucial day for the search for truth in Caronia. Today, a pool of experts has been entrusted with the task of carrying out the autopsy examination , the genetic and morphological tests of various types, requested by the Patti prosecutor who coordinates the investigation into the death of Viviana Parisi and her son Gioele. Among the tasks the examination of the poor bone remains of the child, found among the dense vegetation of the hill of Caronia.

And a new inspection was also arranged in the areas where the bodies were found: that of Viviana at the foot of a pylon on August 8, five days after the disappearance, despite the drones of the Fire Brigade having captured the image of the corpse already on the morning of the 4th; and the remains of Joel on 19 August. If those pictureshad been seen, is the family's accusation, Joel might have been found in time.

A large team of experts , in particular: Daniela Sapienza, associate professor of Forensic Medicine at the University of Messina, coroner; Elvira Ventura Spanish, medical examiner; Stefano Vanin, associate professor of zoology at the University of Genoa, entomologist; Rosario Fico, head of the National Reference Center for Veterinary Forensic Medicine, in service at the "Aleandri" Experimental Zooprophylactic Institute of the Lazio and Tuscany Regions, zoologist, expert in the field of animal signs and traces imprinted on bodies; Rita Lorenzini, in service at the Experimental Zooprophylactic Institute of the Lazio and Tuscany Regions "Aleandri" - Molecular Forensic Diagnostic Laboratory, zoologist and geneticist expert in wildlife and non-wildlife; Roberta Somma, at the University of Messina, forensic geologist, expert in the analysis of soils and human remains preserved in them.

"The investigative investigations - warns the prosecutor Angelo Cavallo - are therefore still very complex and continue in every direction, without neglecting, as already mentioned, any hypothesis".

Yesterday, Massimo Picozzi, professor of psychiatry at the Universities of Parma and Bocconi of Milan, has already been given a technical consultancy assignment, in order to acquire precise information on Viviana Parisi's mental and psychological health, in the light of the documentation acquired medicine, including certification from the Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto hospital which attested to forms of paranoia and mystical crises

Daniele Mondello: "Enough mud on my family"
"As long as I live, and Viviana and Gioele will give me the strength to go on, I will fight until my death to know the truth. My pain has no boundaries, but I'm not willing to tolerate anything else mud on Viviana, on me or on my family ". Daniele Mondello writes it on Facebook. "My wife - he adds - has never touched my son even with a finger. I think they have been attacked by animals". And he specifies: "What was prescribed to Viviana was aimed at alleviating her state of anxiety: because of Covid, and the months of forced confinement at home, she feared for her family. The same fear we all had".

Viviana's father: "Serious superficiality in the research"
"We want to know" said Luigino Parisi, Viviana's father, the DJ found lifeless in Caronia, entering the Patti prosecutor's office for the assignment of the consultants appointed by the deputy prosecutor, Angelo Vittorio Cavallo. "I appointed two lawyers to go ahead and tell me what happened," he added. And when he learned that Viviana's body could be seen from the drone, he said: "I have turned the boxes. If I am a worker I have to look there, I don't pile 16,000 frames. There was an evident superficiality in the searches". Accompanying Luigino Parisi were the lawyers Nicodeno Gentile and Antonio Cozza. "There are no fixed points, we just want to understand what the hypotheses are and what happened. Now the moment of pain continues", he continued. The lawyer Nicodemo Gentile said: "The family wants to understand, we want to understand, we will appoint our consultants. There is a dynamic that needs to be rebuilt, we hope that forensic medicine can help us and give us certain answers".

Parisi's lawyers: "The family deserves full truth"
"Many reconstructions have already been made without having certain elements". "The families of Viviana and Gioele deserve the truth, whatever it may be. It must be reached without gaps and gaps. It is a duty for all operators to deliver qualified answers to these people. It will be a long and painful day, to live, momentarily. after a moment, next to these unfortunate family members. As always we are there ". The lawyers Nicodemo Gentile and Antonio Cozza, lawyers of Viviana Parisi's family, say so. The prosecutor noted that the consultant of the office, in examining the thousands of images recorded, found that the fire brigade drones had 'captured' the image of Viviana's body already on the morning of August 4, one day after the disappearance. Beside it was not the little body of little Gioele. For the family, which filed a complaint to ascertain omissions on investigations and research, it is a serious matter, because the little one could have been alive and without this delay he could perhaps have been saved.

Genetic traces are also sought in the car
Among the unrepeatable investigations that will take place tomorrow as part of the investigation coordinated by the Patti prosecutor's office on the death of Viviana Parisi and little Gioele, there is also the examination of "six samples taken on August 6 inside the Opel Corsa at in order to verify the presence of genetic profiles for as many comparisons ". The car is that of the woman in which mother and son were traveling. This and other investigations will take place in the Forensic Genetics Laboratory of the Palermo Scientific Police Regional Cabinet.
