A 3-year-old child has been hospitalized in a very serious condition since Monday afternoon in the pediatric emergency department of CHU Pellegrin. He was taken care of by the emergency services on the beach of Bordeaux-Lac around 6 p.m., while he was in cardio-respiratory arrest, reports Sud Ouest.
He had been drowned seconds earlier. As a reminder, this beach has been closed since Monday morning after two cases of Covid-19 within the management team.
Bordeaux-Lac beach is not expected to reopen before September 2. How did this child and his relatives get to bathe? For the moment, the circumstances of this drowning are not known and an investigation has been opened.
