The state of Wisconsin, USA, has declared a state of emergency, after violent protests have resulted from police shooting of black people.

According to AP Bloomberg News, Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers declared an emergency on the 25th local time and doubled the number of National Guard troops deployed at Kernosha, the epicenter of the crisis, from 125 to 250.

On the 23rd, in Kenosha, a video of a black man Jacob Blake, shot by multiple bullets shot by the police, spread online, and violent protests took place two nights in a row.

Public sentiment worsened when it was revealed that three young sons were in the car that he collapsed at the time.

It was reported that dozens of buildings were burned and many stores were destroyed in the two days of violent protests.

In an interview with local media, Blake's father revealed that his son, the victim of the shooting, was paralyzed, and the protesters' anger is likely to increase.

In particular, this incident has been devastating as a ``black life is also precious'' protest continues for three months after a white policeman killed George Floyd, a black man, in Minneapolis, Minnesota on May 25.

Protests protesting police shootings against Blake extend beyond Kenosha, Wisconsin to major cities across the country, including New York, Los Angeles, San Diego and Portland.
