The UAE provided 500 food baskets containing 21 tons and 400 kilograms of food aid to the residents of the Mukalla Rural District in Hadramout Governorate, benefiting 2,500 individuals from incapable families, while the Emirates Red Crescent Mobile Medical Clinic continued its free services in Hadramout.

The United Arab Emirates continues to support the brotherly Yemeni people at all levels, under the directives of the wise leadership, to stand by the brother and friend.

In this context, the food aid comes to the residents of the Mukalla Rural Directorate, which the Emirates Red Crescent Authority teams distributed to the beneficiaries as part of the UAE's efforts to alleviate suffering and normalize the lives of families who suffer from difficult conditions due to the conditions Yemen is going through.

Residents of those areas, upon receiving the relief aid, expressed their thanks to the leadership, government and people of the United Arab Emirates for their historic fraternal stance on their side in light of the difficult economic conditions in which they are living.

It is noteworthy that the number of food baskets distributed since the beginning of 2020 reached 29,910 food baskets weighing 2,397 tons and 728 kilograms, targeting 149,550 individuals from needy and affected families in Hadramout governorate.

With the support of the UAE, the mobile medical clinic of the Emirates Red Crescent Authority continues to provide medical care to the residents of the various regions of Hadramawt throughout the week until the end of this year.

In Al-Khazan area in the Al-Mukalla district, the mobile medical clinic of the Emirates Red Crescent Authority provided medical care to 160 sick cases of various age groups, including children, men, women and the elderly. Various medical cases were examined and the necessary free treatments and medicines were given, in addition to diseases spread among the families. , Including treating fevers, infections, coughs, influenza, wounds and burns.

The "mobile clinics" project comes to alleviate the suffering of the population in remote areas where hospitals or medical centers are not available, as they provide field services in the regions and directorates of Hadramout governorate.

The residents of the areas visited by the mobile clinic expressed their thanks to the UAE for its permanent standing by them, praising the efforts of the Emirates Red Crescent in implementing this humanitarian project in their regions, in continuation of the inherent approach of giving established by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul. His approach is the wise leadership of the state, so that the march of good continues in support of its brother and friend.

The Red Crescent Authority has also distributed shelter tents to a number of remote areas in the Dulaia district of Hadramout governorate, to support the stability of the nomadic Bedouins among the dozens of projects and initiatives implemented by the authority in the governorate, to alleviate the suffering of citizens and normalize the lives of families suffering from difficult conditions due to the conditions the country is going through.

The aid included the distribution of 70 shelter tents to the nomadic Bedouins in the areas of Al Dhale'ah District, where the residents of these areas live hundreds of kilometers away from the nearest city with services in light of the lack of basic services.

The beneficiary families expressed their thanks and appreciation to the leadership, government and people of the United Arab Emirates for this generous gesture that comes within the framework of the state's efforts to normalize the life of the population in Yemen.
