For its tenth season, the TF1 telecrochet "The Voice" welcomes a new coach, singer Vianney, while Florent Pagny will return to the red chairs alongside Amel Bent and Marc Lavoine, the channel announced in a press release.

Last year, the show had completely renewed its team of coaches with Marc Lavoine, Lara Fabian, Pascal Obispo and Amel Bent, previously coach in "The Voice Kids".

This will be the first participation of Vianney, 29 years old, interpreter in particular of "Pas là", "Moi aime toi", or "I go away" and winner of two Victoires de la musique. The young singer began his career by providing the opening parts for Florent Pagny, historic coach of the show, who returns after a two-year break.

The broadcast dates for this 10th season, scheduled for 2021, have not yet been announced.

Season 9, whose episodes had been shortened due to confinement, had done better than before in terms of viewership but remained below the 5 million viewer mark on average.

The final had gathered nearly 3.9 million viewers against 3.4 million the year before.
