As noted, the Austrian ambassador was declared a "strong protest" in connection with the unjustified decision of Austria to revoke the accreditation of the Russian diplomat and the demand to leave the country.
“Guided by the principle of reciprocity, a diplomat of the Embassy of the Austrian Republic in the Russian Federation has been announced as a retaliatory measure“ persona non grata ”,” the message says.
Earlier, Austria obliged the Russian diplomat to leave the country in connection with the espionage case.
The embassy in Vienna called this decision baseless.
As noted in the Kremlin, commenting on the situation, Russia will mirror the response to the expulsion of the diplomat.
