It is a walker who discovered his body, next to his horse, early Sunday afternoon. A woman in her thirties died after falling from her mount in Castillon-en-Couserans, in western Ariège. Arrived on the scene, the emergency services could only note the death of this thirty-something living in a neighboring village.
According to La Dépêche du Midi , the gendarmerie investigation carried out by the Saint-Girons brigade is heading towards a fall following the runaway of the horse, for an undetermined reason. The victim, who had left alone and without identity papers, allegedly collided with a tree stump while falling.
