Demonstrations in Minsk continue and the tone of the regime has been raised. More than 50 news sites have been blocked in the country, and yesterday President Alexander Lukashenko called on the military to be "fully operational".
At the same time, pictures are now being spread from the president's own staff where the criticized leader himself is seen carrying a weapon.
