They dreamed of a big party, their disappointment is immense: the PSG supporters, gathered Sunday at the Parc des Princes to see the final of the Champions League, left the stadium with their heads bowed down around which took place some clashes with the police.

"Too much disappointment! They wasted too many chances and unfortunately in the final that does not forgive. The opportunities were there but not the realism. (...) Until the end there were opportunities that could have led to an equalizer but luck was not on our side ... ”regrets Nicolas Mounier leaving the stadium.

"We are mixed," said a group of three people. "We are disappointed but we weren't ridiculous. The first half, we were on a level playing field and we had a slump the first 20 minutes of the second half and we paid it", sums up Anne Vaneson.

"It seems that the first final is always lost," wants to believe Benjamin Navet. "It's the first step, the first time we reach the final, in special conditions," he said. "We are disappointed but not dejected," confirms his mother Dominique Navet.

The 5,000 supporters, who followed in a boiling atmosphere the final of the Champions League from the Parc des Princes had yet given voice despite the mask throughout the match.

In the stadium, only a small part of the stands were occupied by masked supporters, waving flags and flaming smoke as the chants resound continuously in the almost empty stadium.

Throughout the match, around the stadium, clashes took place between the police who used tear gas in front of supporters armed with fireworks.

At the end of the match, several trash cans were set on fire and firefighters had to intervene for a vehicle on fire near the Champs-Elysées, said the Paris Police Prefecture (PP).

Annoyed by the defeat of PSG, supporters began to attack the balustrades surrounding the renovation site of the fountain at the Porte de Saint-Cloud, before being stopped by tear gas jets.

Small groups of young people, very mobile, run off and disperse in the surrounding streets, setting fire to some garbage cans. In the distance, fireworks and the muffled detonations of large firecrackers.

As police trucks pass, young people throw bottles shouting insults. "Go, go home, it will turn into urban violence", advises onlookers a group of supporters.

The police had to disperse "a hundred people gathered at the Porte de Saint-Cloud", announced the Prefecture during the match on Twitter. "Unacceptable overflows" tweeted in return the Minister of the Interior Gérard Darmanin.

According to the police headquarters, at 11:45 p.m. six people were arrested.

The police also intervened to verbalize people not wearing the mask. At 10:30 p.m., 274 verbalizations had also been drawn up, in particular in a bar which was evacuated near the Champs-Elysées.

In Marseille, another atmosphere: OM supporters exploded with joy after the defeat of PSG, their historic rival. "It's a day of celebration, they lost," exclaimed Samir M'Kirech seated on the terrace of a pub in the Old Port of Marseille.

President Emmanuel Macron shared on Twitter his "Congratulations to @FCBayern for his sixth Champions League and to @PSG_inside for his exceptional run". "The hour of victory will come for French football," he added.
