From May to July 2020, 15 central inspection teams worked in 35 central and state agencies for about 2 months. At the inspection feedback meeting, the Central Inspection Team pointed out that since the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the central and state organs and organizations have adhered to the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and have been more active in implementing the decisions and deployments of the Party Central Committee. The overall sense of responsibility for governing the party has been improved, and the comprehensive and strict governance of the party has shown a continuous upward trend, and new positive progress has been made in various tasks, especially in the fight against the new crown pneumonia epidemic this year, the resumption of work and production, and the restoration of normal economic and social operations On the one hand, we resolutely obeyed the command and dispatch of the Party Central Committee, actively performed our duties and worked hard, and our achievements are worthy of recognition. At the same time, the central inspection team also pointed out some problems: some were not deep enough to study and implement Xi Jinping’s thoughts on socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era, and not enough to perform their functions and responsibilities; some were not strong enough to implement the “two responsibilities” of comprehensively and strictly governing the party and conduct responsibilities. There is a phenomenon of attenuation of the pressure and corruption, the prevention and control of corruption risks in some areas and links is not in place, and the rectification of formalism and bureaucracy is not effective enough; some implementations of the party’s organizational line in the new era have weak links, shortcomings in the construction of cadres and talents, and grassroots party building The work is relatively weak, and the day-to-day management and supervision of cadres is not strict enough; some problems are not sustained enough to rectify and reform, and some problems are not effective. At the same time, the inspection team also received clues that reflected some leading cadres, which have been transferred to the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, the State Supervision Commission, and the Central Organization Department for handling in accordance with relevant regulations.
