The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation announced that 922 private sector institutions and employers have succeeded in recruiting citizens looking for work through the portal “Tawteen”, the online platform of the National Program for Employment in the Private Sector, calling on citizens looking for employment opportunities and qualification for the labor market, to the need to register with the gate.

According to the ministry, the “Tawteen” program works to support and enhance the participation of national human resources in the approved jobs, in order to ensure the fulfillment of the career aspirations of national competencies, by qualifying, training and guiding them, and creating an attractive work environment within the strategic economic establishments in the private sector.

The ministry noted that the “Tawteen” program achieves four main objectives, including “enhancing the participation of national human resources in approved jobs within targeted sectors in the private sector, ensuring their continuity in work in order to achieve their professional and practical aspirations, as well as qualifying the national human resources in line with the requirements of the market. Work in the strategic priority sectors, in cooperation and coordination with the concerned authorities, as it aims to provide a smooth and accessible smart electronic platform for recruitment, based on international best practices, and finally to provide benefits and incentives for enterprises registered in the Ministry that work to increase the employment of national human resources, and to qualify, train and enable them ».

She mentioned that the portal provides three types of services to employers, the first of which is the "manpower planning" service for the future needs of establishments of human resources and professional strength, and the second is to benefit from the membership and advantages of the "Emiratisation Partners Club", which is one of the Ministry's initiatives aimed at providing a package of benefits And the distinctive incentives and services provided to the establishments registered with them, which support Emiratisation, according to the level of the establishment's classification within the club categories, while the last service provided by the portal to employers is to follow up data and information on job seekers.

The Ministry stated that the “Tawteen” portal also provides four types of services for young citizens looking for work, including training on how to build a CV by collecting information on the educational level, skills, experiences and general information for the job seeker, as well as career counseling services, which are provided. For those targeted in all the Emiratisation centers of the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation at the state level.

According to the ministry, the list of services provided by the “Tawteen” portal for job seekers also includes taking advantage of the programs and courses of the National Training Portal, which is an innovative platform to enable citizens to find jobs in the labor market, and finally, the organization of open days for employment, a service that has been disrupted. Temporarily since the end of last March, due to the precautionary measures to confront the emerging "Corona" pandemic, indicating that it is working to achieve job stability for citizens in the private sector, by implementing Emiratisation initiatives that support the strategy of creating job opportunities for citizens that suit their aspirations.

7 conditions for registration

The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation has set seven conditions for registering citizens looking for work opportunities with the “Tawteen” portal, including that the applicant be a citizen of the country, hold a family book, have a certificate of good conduct, be between 18-60 years old, and that He shall be unemployed and ready to enter work or any of the training programs, within a period not exceeding two weeks.

The conditions also included that the applicant must respond to the e-mail and contact numbers with “Tawteen”, inform officials of any change that occurs to them, and commit to activating the registration application at least once every three months, confirming that employment opportunities are reduced if the job seeker refuses three job opportunities. He was absent from a job interview more than twice, and also if he was absent from evaluation programs and employment days three times.

“Tawteen” services include making use of the programs and courses of the National Training Portal.
