Turkish star Engin Altan Dozitan, hero of the series "Resurrection Ertugrul," fulfilled the wish of 3 Pakistani children with anemia, by meeting them.
Dozitan Suhail Omar (17 years old), the two girls, Visa Khuda Baksh (14 years) and Sidra Khan (15 years), met through a virtual event, which was co-organized by the branches of the Global "Make a Wish" Foundation in Turkey and Pakistan, and it was published on Facebook.
"I feel overjoyed by your love for me," said Duzitan, during the meeting. "My role in the series was very difficult, but it was fun at the same time. Thank you, and I hope that we will meet in reality someday," according to a report broadcast by Anatolia.
The Turkish star also thanked "Make a Wish" Foundation and all those who followed the event.
The organizers of the event presented the Turkish star with a sword written on the word unification, which was received on his behalf by the Turkish consul in Karachi Tolga Ushak.
"Artgrel" in Urdu
On the instructions of the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan, Pakistan State Television (PTV) last Ramadan began showing the series "The Resurrection of Artagarl", translated into Urdu, and was very popular.
The Artegrel Resurrection series - which began showing in 2014 on the Turkish official channel (TRT1) - concluded its career last season after the episode of 150 was shown.
Artgrel displayed in 71 countries
In addition to being the top viewer in Turkey during its seasons, the series received wide follow-up in 71 countries it was exported to, most notably the United States, Pakistan, Albania, and some countries in the Middle East and North Africa.
The series is currently shown in different countries, dubbed into 25 languages, including Arabic, English and Urdu.
The series "The Resurrection of Artagarl" is set in the 13th century AD, as it presents the biography of the hero Ertugrul bin Suleiman Shah, the leader of the Kayi tribe, one of the Muslim Oguz Turks (Turkmen), and the father of Osman I, founder of the Ottoman Empire (656 AH / 1258 AD - 726 AH / 1326 AD) .
The historical series continues in the current season with the series "The Founder Othman", which deals with the life of the founder of the Ottoman Empire, who is one of the sons of "Artgrel".
