Steve Bannon, the controversial former adviser to Donald Trump, was arrested Thursday and accused of defrauding hundreds of thousands of dollars in donations to a campaign to build the wall on the border with Mexico promised by the president of the United States.
Along with Bannon, three other people were arrested and charged for their role in an alleged fraud around the initiative "We Build the Wall" ("We build the wall," in English), which raised about 25 million dollars, according to the authorities.
