According to him, Belarus and Russia "are in a single defense space both within the CSTO and within the Union State."

“Direct losses for our defense industry [would amount] annually to the order of $ 300-350 million,” BelTA quotes him.

Golovchenko added that within the framework of the CSTO, Belarus purchases weapons, military and special equipment at domestic prices, not at export prices.

Golovchenko also said that it is important for Belarus to keep the Russian market as a priority one.
