Ten days. It is the urgent deadline established by Juan Guaidó, president in charge of Venezuela, to reach a unitary pact between the opposition leaders that will face the "Chavista electoral farce" of December 6. "I do not ask for blind obedience or unanimity, but willingness and humility to listen to us, to give in as soon as it is strategic to give in, to risk what is inevitable to risk and thus build a common route to liberate and save Venezuela, " Guaidó challenged in his message to the country.

One of the main objectives is to set up a "national and international mechanism for massive citizen participation", in addition to resuming a "national and international action and mobilization agenda to achieve the necessary action by the Armed Forces, the international community and the each of the allies. "

The constitutional period of the National Assembly (AN) ends on January 5, so the Bolivarian regime has designed an apparent impasse to fraudulently seize the only power that it does not have in its hands today. Among the proposals that have been discussed is the holding of a referendum outside the Government. According to pollster Delphos, Guaidó maintains a national approval of 40%.

The president of the Democratic Parliament summoned the main opposition leaders, including those who have distanced themselves from him. The plan that his team is preparing will be discussed with each of them, starting with those who make up the G-4 of the Democratic Unity: Julio Borges , coordinator of Primero Justicia (PJ); Henry Ramos Allup , Secretary General of Acción Democrática (AD); Manuel Rosales , founder of Un Nuevo Tiempo (UNT) and Leopoldo López , leader of Voluntad Popular (VP), the party in which Guaidó is a member. López, a refugee in the Spanish Embassy in Caracas, plays a central role in the cabinet of the presidency in charge.

Guaidó also quoted Andrés Velásquez , leader of La Causa R; to the deputy Delsa Solórzano , who heads the Encuentro Ciudadano, and to Roberto Enríquez , national president of the Christian Democrat Copei, asylee in the Chilean Embassy since 2017. The three have signed the agreement between 27 parties not to participate in 6-D.

In the list of leaders also appears Henrique Capriles , who has criticized the opposition leadership without restraint in recent times. The former presidential candidate advocates using 6-D to demonstrate the opposition force, which brings him closer to the thesis put forward by the Catholic Church, which demands a response beyond abstention, even voting against Maduro at the polls.

And finally, the list is completed by María Corina Machado and Antonio Ledezma , whose radical theses separated them from the Democratic Unity long ago. Vente Venezuela, Machado's party, has responded in advance on its Twitter account, betting on a military intervention as the only solution for the country.

"The decisive moment has arrived for all national leaders to assume the responsibility that we all have in this harsh context that necessarily rethinks the board," added Guaidó.

And so hard: the "most democratic elections in history", as the Bolivarian Government calls them, will be held with the main opposition parties intervened; with their leaders disabled, persecuted or imprisoned; with a National Electoral Council (CNE) under the orders of the Miraflores Palace and with the traditional Chavista advantage perfected to the last detail.
