Today's Lebanese newspapers focused on the possibility of Saad Hariri returning to head the Lebanese government, after he resigned last year in the wake of popular protests calling for the fight against corruption, reforms and the overthrow of the sectarian system.

Al-Jumhuriya newspaper says, "The ruling issued by the International Court set in motion political consultations on more than one line, whether between the Shiite duo (Hezbollah and Amal Movement), and all parties to the political incubator of the previous government, as well as between President Michel Aoun and Speaker of Parliament Nabih Berri. The meeting between them in the Republican Palace yesterday focused in particular on the government file and binding parliamentary consultations, and there is information indicating that the basis for the discussion between the two presidents was the issue of Hariri’s return to prime minister.

The newspaper continues, "It was understood from the atmosphere of the meeting that Aoun and Berri were each making contacts and consultations on his side, and that its conclusion so far indicates that there are still pending points, including the prime minister's name, and this awaits a decision with Hariri personally."

In the context, Nidaa Al-Watan newspaper indicated that “Aoun is entrenched behind the fad of“ authoring before assignment ”, and refuses to set the date for binding parliamentary consultations before knowing the government’s gender, shape and color. It is established that the key to the solution to the crisis begins with the recognition of the need to assign Hariri first, before embarking on the search for overcoming the contract and the obstacles that stand in the way of the government’s birth.

The newspaper quoted "sources" as believing that "the most favored form until now is a technocratic government headed by Hariri and that has political cover to overcome the crisis." But she asked, on the other hand: "Will Aoun and Hezbollah accept to name Hariri his entire ministerial team, or will they insist that it be established." Parties to name their ministers in his technocratic government? '' Pointing out that "the prevailing conviction now is that there is no name ahead of Hariri as prime minister."

On the other hand, Al-Akhbar newspaper went on to say that “there has been no consensus between the political components of the government as a president and its formation, while there is no information about the parliamentary consultations that the president of the republic is supposed to call for to name who will form the new government, which indicates that the crisis is a candidate. To prolong, in light of the internal and external difficulties that have been facing Hariri so far. "

It quoted sources familiar with the Aoun and Berri meeting as saying that "Berri is trying to market Hariri and persuade Aoun with him under the heading of the necessities of the stage, but Aoun has so far not responded, while we await Basil's position, Berri’s mission is almost impossible. Hariri has not given any answer to his name, which is Saudi Arabia’s refusal to be the head of a government in which the party participates, and thus how can others be persuaded before Hariri convinces himself?

As for An-Nahar newspaper, it came in an article for its most prominent book, Sarkis Naoum, that “President Saad Hariri has two conditions for accepting his government’s formation: the first is that he obtains financial aid from the countries of the Cedar conference, worth about $ 10 billion, and the second is that his government has the right to enact laws with exceptional powers that he agrees. The House of Representatives is discussing the ministerial statement of the government that he is authoring. These two conditions show Hariri’s distance from reality.
