After their success in the municipal elections, the Greens hold their "Summer Days" from Thursday evening. It's (already) time for the Greens to start school! After their success in the municipal elections, EELV and 5 other ecological parties are co-organizing their summer university in Pantin, in Seine Saint Denis, from Thursday afternoon until Saturday evening. The "summer days" of environmentalists will be an opportunity to prepare for the upcoming elections and in particular the presidential election ... against the backdrop of a duel between Yannick Jadot and Eric Piolle, two strong men who no longer hide their ambitions.

A neutral line, or a rally on the left?

And the two candidates have very different strategies. On the one hand, there is Yannick Jadot, victorious in the Europeans on a line neither right nor left. The MEP believes in his chances and wants the candidate to be nominated quickly. Facing him, Eric Piolle, the mayor of Grenoble, comfortably re-elected in June, advocates the rally on the left. He will also take a tour of the rebellious summer school, Friday, alongside Jean-Luc Mélenchon and that of the PS the following weekend.

Two personalities who, basically, embody two visions of political ecology. Within the party, however, we swear that not: "They have very little dissension on the merits" wants to believe a framework, which however warns "it is necessary to get in working order quickly". Everything to prevent the political duel from turning into a fratricidal war, as the party has known in the past. The national secretary of EELV, Julien Bayou affirms it: "This time it is not a question of making the figuration, we intend to go there to win".
