A 46-year-old father and his 17-year-old daughter lost their lives this Thursday afternoon on the Gironde coast. They drowned in an unsupervised area on the edge of Crohot des Cavales beach, near Carcans. At this time, another 14-year-old child is still wanted by the emergency services, specifies Sud Ouest.
The drama took place around 3 p.m. The parents and their three children found themselves trapped in a baïne. The rescuers were able to bring the mother and one of her young daughters back to the beach. Significant relief resources are being deployed at this very moment to try to find the missing young boy.
