10 people were detained in Brest for participation in the riots

According to the Department of Internal Affairs, residents of Brest, as well as Brest and Drogichin districts, aged 18 to 40, were detained.

The report says that they are suspected of using violence against employees of the internal affairs bodies and damaging state property on the central streets of the city.

“They are currently in a temporary detention facility. Investigators are conducting investigative actions, ”the police department said.

Earlier, the Investigative Committee of Belarus opened proceedings on the facts of riots in Brest.
