The radio source stated that Messi is aware of the difficulty of his position in front of the Catalan club management now, because he is linked to a contract that extends to the end of next season, and with a penalty clause of up to 700 million euros.
He said that the administration does not want to build on Messi's position during today's meeting, noting that President Josep Maria Bartomeu appeared firm on his refusal to negotiate the departure of the first star of the team.
