If nothing is official yet on the side of the presidency of Senegal, the arrival of President Macky Sall is well confirmed by the Medef, the French employers' organization.

During an intervention scheduled for Thursday, August 27 in the morning, the Senegalese president will be questioned in particular by business leaders on the impact of Covid-19 in Africa and on the attractiveness of the territory, according to a source at Medef.

This meeting brings together around 2,000 business leaders and therefore these are all opportunities to present the investment possibilities in Senegal for Macky Sall.

The visit to France could also be an opportunity for the Senegalese president to meet his French counterpart, Emmanuel Macron.

The latter should have come to Senegal at the end of June but the bilateral meeting was canceled at the last moment while Macky Sall had to quarantine himself for fifteen days, after having been in contact with a person infected with Covid-19.

The cancellation of the debts of African countries could be one of the subjects discussed between the two statesmen, while Emmanuel Macron is a support of Macky Sall in this fight.
