One night in 1905, little Frank Epperson , 11, living in Oakland, near San Francisco (USA), left glasses of lemonade on the porch of his house, in the sometimes cold bay of Northern California. Without knowing it, without looking for it, and even without making his debut in the uncertain job market, little Frank was about to achieve that fatuous American dream of getting filthy rich with a simpler idea than mechanism.
