Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed the events in Belarus with a number of European politicians. On the initiative of Berlin, a telephone conversation took place with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, and later Putin had a conversation with French leader Emmanuel Macron, as well as with the President of the European Council Charles Michel.
Putin stressed the inadmissibility of interference in the internal affairs of Belarus and pressure on Minsk.
