The boy fell into the water from a cliff near Flottsbro at 2 pm on Wednesday. Ambulance, police and divers were alerted to the scene.
- We got calls that the boy was there without parents, and that he had fallen from a cliff. The boy's friends were able to point out the location, says Roger Magnusson, operations manager at Södertörn's fire protection association.
After a while of searching, the boy was found at a depth of four meters.
- He was taken by ambulance helicopter to Karolinska Hospital.
Relatives have been notified and the police will now investigate what has happened.
