The version of Google Chrome for desktop and Android computers includes a QR code generator, and this generator allows the user to convert open website addresses into a suitable code image to be shared with others, and the generator can also be used for more other input operations.
The generator has not been activated as standard yet, and the user can try it by typing "chrome: // flags" in the address line. On the desktop version, the entry should be searched for "# sharing-qr-code-generator", then clicking "Enabled" item.
For smartphones equipped with Google Android, search for the entries "# share-qr-code" and "# sharing-qr-code-generator" and click on "Enabled".
In the desktop version of Google Chrome, the user can call the generator at any time via the context menu, by clicking on the right mouse button and selecting the item "Create a quick response code for this page". Alternatively, this function also works by clicking on QR code button on the right side of the address line.
The QR code that appears next includes the address of the currently open website, and the user can change the content as desired by entering a different web address or any other text in the box below the QR code, which can be shared as a code or downloaded as an image after that, in order to Include it in an email or document.
