The Ministry of Education has identified 149 outlets for the sale of approved school uniforms for Emirati school students nationwide, and the outlets are distributed over: Abu Dhabi (76 outlets), Dubai (22 outlets), Sharjah (17 outlets), Ajman (8 outlets), and Umm Al Quwain (3 outlets) ), Ras al-Khaimah (13 ports), and Fujairah (10 ports).
The “School Uniforms for the Academic Year 2021/2020” guide, approved by the Ministry, recently stated that the prices start from 25 dirhams for a sports shirt for the kindergarten stage, for males and females, and reach 139 dirhams for “the third ring jacket - females”. School uniform, except that it is devoid of "kandora".

He stressed that this comes in line with the privacy and requirements of the educational process, and to achieve its objectives in its various academic stages, and to ensure a stimulating and supportive environment for the student, taking into account the need to provide school uniforms that take into account his needs.
Outlets, including Yaqoub Trade Center, Khonji Fashion House and Dantin Trading, reported to Emirates Today that sales of school uniforms are witnessing a significant decline, exceeding 90%, compared to sales of school uniforms in the same period last year, attributing this to hesitation. Parents of students regarding the acquisition of uniforms, as they are not completely sure that the approved study system will be "education in schools", and that it is more likely until now that it will be "distance education." They pointed out that they had proposed ways to attract students and their families to buy uniforms, including: “custom-made” and “home delivery,” but that did not stimulate the sale process, noting that the students ’families are not concerned about the running out of the quantities of school clothes on offer, due to the multiplicity of outlets. The sale is nationwide, and then the student’s guardian is sure that he will find the school uniform available, if the Ministry of Education decides that education should be within schools. They added that the stagnant sale of school uniforms places great financial burdens on their outlets, without any returns.
