- Many teachers are worried and we fear that it will lead to increased spread of infection when students stay in small spaces again. We can really hope that this will not be the case, says Svante Tideman, 1st vice chairman of the National Union of Teachers and a teacher at Tullängsgymnasiet in Örebro. 

The start has been messy for the teachers this year and in Örebro, the conditions at the high school have changed at short notice and the distance education will partly remain.

Hoped for clearer directives

The National Union of Teachers had wanted clear directives that were the same for all upper secondary schools.

- We had hoped for a much clearer message at a higher level, instead of each principal taking responsibility. We have received general advice, but no exact directives and we keep our distance as far as possible, says Svante Tideman.
