The head of the "Supporting the Resistance and Anti-Zionism" Association, Ahmed Al-Kahlawi, condemned the Emirati move, describing it as a dangerous turning point for the grave of the Palestinian cause.
He stressed that the alliance, which he described as the strategic between the UAE and Israel, with the blessing of US President Donald Trump, is nothing but a prelude to the announcement of the Deal of the Century.
Al-Kahlawi called on the Tunisian parliament to accelerate the re-presentation of a legislative initiative to criminalize normalization against the Zionist entity, recalling a bill that was proposed by civil forces - including the assembly that he chairs - to include a chapter in the constitution that criminalizes normalization, but the law was overturned by the Constituent Assembly at the time.
There is no separate law or chapter in the constitution of post-revolution Tunisia that explicitly criminalizes normalization, in exchange for the inclusion of a sentence in the preamble confirming Tunisia's victory "for the oppressed everywhere, the right of peoples to self-determination, and just liberation movements, foremost of which is the Palestinian liberation movement."
The Secretary-General of the Republican Party, Essam Al-Shabi, stated that his participation in the protest in front of the UAE embassy is to express the principled position of the political forces in Tunisia on the Palestinian issue and the right of its people to establish their independent state, according to him.
In a statement to Al-Jazeera Net, he described the Emirati normalization and recognition of the Zionist entity, as "a national betrayal and a stab in the back of the Palestinians" and a service for the election campaign of US President Donald Trump.He added, "The rulers of the Emirates have no right to decide the fate of the Palestinian people, who have been fighting for more than 70 years with their blood for their just cause."

Parties condemn
