According to reports, proficiency testing is an effective means of evaluating laboratory technical capabilities and an important part of laboratory quality control. Since the establishment of a unified proficiency testing system in China in 2006, the State Administration for Market Regulation (CNCA) has been vigorously promoting the development of proficiency testing standards, organizing the development of proficiency testing plans for national-level inspection and testing institutions in key inspection and testing fields such as food, electronics and electrical appliances. Nearly 500 proficiency testing projects have been carried out. Currently, 82 proficiency testing providers in my country have been accredited by the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS), and their business scope covers various fields.
